One of my oldest and dearest friends suffered a series of tragedies today when his apartment was destroyed in a fire. Please consider contributing to the GoFundMe campaign I set up to help him out.

My dear friend, Andrew Rothkin, is laying in a hospital bed suffering from burns and smoke inhalation from a tragic event this afternoon.

His apartment was destroyed by a fire.

          His sweet cat, Pepper, was killed in the blaze.

          Andrew sustained multiple injuries while  
          attempting to put out the fire.

          He and his roommates have lost their home.

          Andrew has lost everything he owns.

Andrew recently lost his health insurance when the job he has held for many years outsourced his entire department. His hospital bills are going to be immense, as will his other needs once his body has recovered.  When he is released, Andrew won’t have a home to go home to; it appears that none of his personal belongings survived the fire. No clothes, no furniture, no dishes, no books, photos or keepsakes.

Please help Andrew get back on his feet and have the resources he needs to pay his medical bills and start over. Any amount you can spare will help.
